At times, in my life, I have had difficulty in saying yes to the things/experiences that I most want.  I allowed fear and feelings of not being worthy to interfere with what I most desired.  I thought that I could do anything for a set amount of time and chose that over my heart’s desire, my soul’s want.  I created and allowed busy work, kept loved ones at a distance and generally hid from what I knew I deeply wanted to experience.

All of that hiding and managing of information became a habit that I practiced with almost religious fervor.  If I kept busy enough – I wouldn’t feel the sting of regret, the pain of unrealized dreams.  I’m sure you know how that turns out!  A big crash and burn with the clear realization that our desires will come forth, whether we make time for them or not.  They will knock at the door until we open.  They will jump on us like the playful puppy wanting us to chase her down the path to our yes.

Our deepest desires want nothing more than to see us welcome them with open arms, invite them in, share a cup of tea – make the path by walking it.  That’s me right now.  On the path to my deepest desires, my biggest yes.  Join me?
